About

Druse is about growing old and all that jazz.

“Slightly shallow, most likely frigid, and sprinkled with episodic pulses of carnal profundity. I have been described as uneventful, very patient and very calm (extremely calm to the point of responding to a blazing electric fan with a yawn), anti-climactic, and cannot lift weights in the gym. I hesitate working too much, but I can’t seem to get my hands off it. As this happens quite often, I have to be resurrected with bursts of perkiness, frivolity, ice cream, and cakes. I like films, live performances, sculpture, and history. I also enjoy gastronomic and culinary exploits, making desserts, baking, or just messing the kitchen with lots of flour. Narrative paintings excite me, as well as rollercoaster rides, cool cars, early mornings, wild gardens, adventure sports, unusual design, thick books, and funky mini chairs. I like running, jogging, walking, cycling, badminton, tennis, bowling, pingpong, billiards, and glacier climbing too.”

Druse is in search for answers to some odd mysteries about life and the natural world, such as (1) why we grow old, (2) why females become infertile, and (3) why we get wrinkles. Druse used to spend long hours in the lab, fiddling with fruitflies. These days, a few drinks plus a little bit of music and dance are as much fun as wearing a white lab coat.
